Tower Fire burns 350 acres on the Orange-Osceola county line

The Florida Forest Service worked a 350-acre wildfire, named the Tower Fire, in rural land near the Econlockhatchee River Swamp southeast of Lake Hart on Aug. 26. Crews had it 40% contained as of 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. No evacuations or road closures were reported, and a cause has not been released.
