Construction underway on $9.5M Marigold Avenue project adding three roundabouts in Osceola County

Work has started on a 1.75-mile stretch of Marigold Avenue, where three single-lane roundabouts are going in at San Lorenzo Road, San Miguel Road, Laurel Avenue and Peabody Road, along with high-visibility crosswalks, lighting, drainage and stormwater upgrades. The just-over-$9.5 million project traces back to a 2020 FDOT safety study that counted 107 crashes at these intersections, 70 of them with injuries. No completion date was given.
