Windermere's Ward Trail and its new pedestrian bridge are open

The town opened the first phase of the Ward Trail in time for the school year: roughly a half mile of shared-use trail with a new pedestrian bridge, drainage improvements and landscaping, open to pedestrians, cyclists and golf carts, linking neighborhoods, parks and Windermere Elementary. The bridge itself was installed in June; pathway and landscaping touches continue through fall.
