County approves 368 apartments to replace Maingate Lakeside Resort on W. 192

Osceola County commissioners on Aug. 20 approved Georgia-based Flournoy Development Group's plan to redevelop the roughly 50-year-old Maingate Lakeside Resort at 7769 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. The 23-acre site will become Declan Maingate: six apartment buildings totaling 368 units, a 6,500-sq-ft clubhouse, and 36 garage bays. Rear access was shifted off Black Lake Road to align with the Magic Village Resort entrance after county review; no construction timeline was given.
