Walmart bought the site for its next supercenter at U.S. 192 and Puffin Road

Walmart paid $7.3 million for the lot and $4.6 million for a fuel-station outparcel — with developer Ferber adding $1.4 million for the center portion, $13.3 million in all — for a 40-acre site just east of Narcoossee Road on U.S. 192. Planned: a 187,400-square-foot supercenter with a drive-thru pharmacy and an eight-pump fuel station. No construction start date has been given.
