Tavares approves 19-acre Interlake Commerce Park on County Road 561

Tavares council members unanimously approved annexation and rezoning for Interlake Commerce Park, a 19.18-acre light-industrial project on County Road 561 near Frankies Road, led by Accu-Cut CEO Scott Brockie. Plans include three mixed warehouse-office buildings of 17,500, 21,000 and 40,000 square feet plus two smaller warehouses, alongside an expansion of the existing Accu-Cut workshop to more than 30,000 square feet. Proposed tenants range from medical and dental offices to a possible pickleball facility or microbrewery.
