Big-box hardware store filed for the vacant land east of Lake Nona West

Tavistock Development Co. filed a Specific Parcel Master Plan with the City of Orlando in August for a 140,000-square-foot hardware store on 15.6 acres just east of Lake Nona West. Site plans from LJA Engineering show a single building of up to 150,000 square feet with 570 parking spaces. GrowthSpotter reports the tenant is anticipated to be Home Depot, which has not confirmed it; the nearest Home Depot today is about 10 miles away in Lee Vista, and Lowe's already has a store on Narcoossee Road.
