Olympus is on its third phase of infrastructure — still with no date attached
noted Sep 1, 2026
At the Lake Economic Area Development partnership dinner in Clermont on May 26, 2026, Mike Carroll, a representative for the 246-acre Olympus development in the Wellness Way corridor on Highway 27, gave the project’s current state: “We are really starting to ramp things up. Our second phase of infrastructure is almost done, and we are into our third phase. We have significant hotel entitlements, and we are seeing interest in those.” The plan pairs health and wellness facilities with sports training and competitive venues, resort hospitality and entertainment zones, residential neighborhoods, and a Town Center carrying retail and office space. Around it, Lake County says Wellness Way already has 15,400 homes approved alongside industrial and commercial office space — the intentional cap, Commissioner Sean Parks told the room, on an area that could have taken 25,000.
