Poitras Park has a contractor but no construction start as of June

noted Aug 31, 2026

⚠️ CONFIDENCE MEDIUM: verify before approving. The City of Orlando approved a contractor to build the 14.2-acre Poitras Park on Luminary Boulevard, but as of GrowthSpotter's June 25 reporting the work had not begun. The $12 million park is planned to include more than a dozen pickleball and basketball courts, walking trails, a splash pad and playground areas. Nothing newer has been published on a groundbreaking date.
