A roughly $30 million first phase of the Lake Eola Park renovation is taking shape
noted Aug 31, 2026
Phase one of the park's renovation is estimated at about $30 million: seawall and drainage work, moving the swan-boat dock closer to the Lake Eola House, and a new walkway behind the amphitheater, with a playground renovation, family zone, amphitheater shade and bathroom upgrades still in the idea stage. No construction start date has been announced. Reported figures for the project differ — later coverage has referenced a $60 million renovation, which may be the multi-phase total; the city has not published a reachable public figure.
