SR 528 widening at Narcoossee Road is underway, with night and weekend closures

CFX began construction in fall 2025 on 1.8 miles of State Road 528 between Goldenrod Road and Narcoossee Road, adding a general-use lane in each direction plus an auxiliary lane between the two interchanges. The work also widens the SR 528 bridge over Narcoossee Road to carry a future eight-lane section, and includes milling and resurfacing. CFX has been posting rolling eastbound and westbound lane closures and an off-ramp closure at Goldenrod, with night and weekend work scheduled to keep peak hours clear.
