Dart Interests filed a land-use amendment in November 2024 to raise short-term-rental entitlements in the Grand Cypress Resort planned development from 1,668 to 6,378 units, and retail from 100,000 to 500,000 sq ft. The filing reached Orange County’s development review committee on March 5, 2025; Dart says it has no confirmed plans and filed to preserve flexibility.
