Osceola County approved a $20 million Tourist Development Tax investment toward a Phase 3 expansion of the county conference center at the Omni ChampionsGate, with developer RIDA adding $25 million of its own. The addition — reported at 62,000 square feet by GrowthSpotter and "approximately 60,000" by Positively Osceola — brings the center to roughly 188,000 square feet, including a 39,000-square-foot ballroom and a 20,000-square-foot event lawn, slated to open in 2028. In July 2026 the county extended the 1% voluntary hotel-room assessment that finances the partnership.
