Camping World Stadium, on our Downtown Orlando map The $400 million Camping World Stadium rebuild is underway, aiming for summer 2027
Construction on the stadium's $400 million modernization started at the north end on December 8, 2025, with completion targeted for summer 2027. The upper-level bleachers give way to chairback seating — lifting capacity from about 63,000 to at least 65,000 — alongside a new multipurpose event center. It is funded entirely by Orange County's Tourist Development Tax, approved by commissioners in November 2024, and events continue through construction in phases.

The NFL approved a one-year temporary lease on March 31: the Jacksonville Jaguars will call Camping World Stadium home for the 2027 season while EverBank Stadium is rebuilt into Jacksonville's "Stadium of the Future," projected complete in 2028. It gives Orlando a full NFL home schedule for the first time — landing the year the stadium's own renovation is due to finish.

Camping World Stadium, on our Downtown Orlando map Camping World Stadium's $400M makeover has its final look — and a 2027 deadline
The final design for Camping World Stadium's $400 million renovation dropped in late July: a new north end zone tower enclosing the bowl, capacity pushing past 65,000, chairback seats replacing the old bleachers, and a programmable digital facade that can glow in any event's colors. Construction has been underway since December 2025 and is phased so concerts and bowl games keep playing through it. The target: ready by August 2027, when the Jacksonville Jaguars move in for their temporary Orlando residency. The whole bill is covered by Orange County's tourist development tax.
