Wyld Oaks says vertical construction is underway on its 215 acres
The 215-acre mixed-use development at S.R. 429 and Kelly Park Road in Apopka reported on June 8, 2026 that nearly two miles of roads, sidewalks and lighting are complete and vertical construction has begun. The same announcement named Atlanta-based Hathaway Development to build the project’s first signature multifamily community.

Hathaway paid $13 million for 11 acres at Wyld Oaks — 325 apartments to follow
The land buy, recorded June 2, 2026, carves an 11-acre parcel out of Wyld Oaks for Exchange at Wyld Oaks: a roughly $71 million, 325-unit apartment project backed by a $47 million construction loan from Ameris Bank. Groundbreaking was expected the same month, with first units targeted for summer 2027.
