The $1 billion Dynasty in Ocoee is approved — and dormant
Montierre Development’s plan for the 159 acres at Ocoee-Apopka Road and Fullers Cross Road is enormous on paper: 17 multipurpose sports fields, a 150,000-square-foot indoor sports facility, 350,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment, dual 10-story towers with 929 rooms, a six-story 185-room boutique hotel, an inclusive playground and Miracle League programming, designed with AECOM and MDSX. The City Commission approved it unanimously on February 18, 2025. As of May 2026 the site remains fenced but undeveloped, with no construction activity visible and groundbreaking repeatedly delayed.

From our comments
“Aren't we supposed to be doing this already in Clermont?? Obviously they are going to ruin Occee's last bit of grass too.”
“Ridiculous... Why? The roads can't handle what it has now. Small Town charm will really be gone if this is built.. Glad I moved when I did.😢”
