The county’s tourism-tax task force left the stadium off its list

Orange County’s TDT advisory task force declined to include the Dreamers’ $975 million request among the tourism projects it recommended for funding — with no finalized stadium site and no MLB expansion team awarded, the panel reasoned the ask came too soon. The task force is advisory; the Board of County Commissioners decides. Co-founder Jim Schnorf says the effort continues.
